A gentle evening of dreaming, making, and beginning. Step into the new year with intention, creativity, and joy.

This Vision Board Workshop is a relaxed, welcoming evening where you’ll create a personal board that reflects what you want to call in — without pressure, performance, or perfection. Just paper, scissors, and a welcoming space.

You’ll be guided through a simple process to help you reflect and begin, but most of the night is yours to cut, glue, dream, and settle into the moment.

Join us for a Henna Workshop with professional artist Sharmeen Moinuddin.

Unwind, create, and connect in this beginner-friendly, hands-on session. Learn essential henna techniques, practice beautiful designs, and take home your own henna kit to keep creating long after the workshop!

We officially have our ABC license! Join us for our very first Paint & Sip evening. It will be a cozy, creative night guided by our House Artist, Grace. Enjoy a creative session with step by step instruction, an 8×10 canvas, all supplies, and a glass of wine.

Workshop Wednesday

Join us for a cozy Workshop Wednesday as Aubrey, our in-house artist, guides you through stitching a sweet, simple design onto a piece you love. All embroidery materials are provided, just bring your own article of clothing (a sweatshirt, tee, tote, or anything you’d like to embellish). No experience needed, just come ready to slow down, sew, and make something uniquely yours.

Join artist Anne Schellenberger for a cozy, creative evening at Canvas & Coffee as we celebrate the colors of autumn in watercolor.

“We live in an amazingly beautiful place! Let’s celebrate the Blue Ridge Parkway by painting one of our own stone overpasses surrounded by stunning fall colors. I’ll provide a template and walk you through the process so even absolute beginners can relax, have fun, and leave with a framed 5×7 piece.”

Each month, our upstairs neighbor Sweet Rain Healing gathers the community to connect, reflect, and imagine new ways of being together. This month, we’re honored to partner as they bring Community Connections downstairs to Canvas & Coffee for a special evening of art, conversation, and collective care.

We’ll have complimentary wooden mandalas to paint as a creative offering, with beverages available for purchase from our café menu. Come for connection, stay for the calm and let the evening unfold gently at your own pace.

Falling on Election Day, this gathering offers a grounding space to be in community, to process, rest, and reconnect in good company.

No registration required. Come as you are, stay as long as you wish, or at least until 8pm :)

Flower Arranging Workshop: Featuring Dahlias

Discover the magic of creating your own beautiful pint-sized bouquet while learning about the star of the season — dahlias!

Doors open at 5:30 PM so you can grab a latte, tea, or your favorite espresso drink (sold separately) and settle in. Our hands-on flower arranging session will begin promptly at 6 PM.

We’ll be using upcycled vases, tins, and glass jars, each pre painted in silver, white, or gold and you’ll get to personalize yours with acrylic paint pens before filling it with fresh blooms.

Leave with a one-of-a-kind arrangement and plenty of floral inspiration to bring more color into your home.
